S. Kleins was there before Alexanders and had that whole strip, including an
outdoor nursery.
Floyyd's was there before Caldors, and there was a miniature golf course where
the bank is.
Adventurer's Inn was there before Nathan's.
You remember Patricia Murphy's, and Tropical Acres.
You remember having 3 outdoor miniature golf courses on Central Ave.
You also had 3 local bowling alleys (2 on Central Ave. and 1 on Tuckahoe Rd.)
The other one on Central Ave. burned down and was where Sleepy's is (across from
Floyyd's)
You also had a golf driving range on Central Ave. - next to the Chrysler
dealership at the bottom of Westchester Towers.
You went to the fireworks display at Tibbets Park on July 4th.
